Cashier – PT
Responsibilities include: Welcome and greet customers, create an environment of professionalism and ensure highest level of customer service possible; Assist customers with questions and needs, finding assistance from other departments when needed; Process customer purchases with accuracy, speed and friendliness; Promote membership, process payments and forms; Inform customers of specials, events and news related to the co-op and it’s community; Keep the Front End area in clean and orderly condition; Follow Front End policies and procedures. Qualifications include: Friendly customer service with a sense of urgency; Ability to multi-task and remain flexible to the changing needs of the business; Experience serving the public and providing good customer service; Organized, accurate, pays attention to detail. Physical qualifications include: Ability to stand in one place for long periods of time; Ability to lift 20 pounds; Ability to continuously reach and twist.
