Person On Duty (POD)
Part-Time Hourly Position
25 to 32 hours a week
Responsibilities:
Provide in-store management level support for staff and customers. Ensure prompt, friendly, courteous customer service, accurate cash handling and customer checkout, store security and smooth store operations during designated shifts. Support the mission of the Front End Department and the Ends Policy of the Co-op, Customer Service, Store Operations, Customer, Store and Staff Safety and Support and Other Responsibilities As Assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience serving the public, Ability to handle multiple demands and stay calm, Ability to project an outgoing and friendly personality, Communications skills — good listener, clear instructions, demonstrated problem solving skills, Accuracy and attention to detail, Familiarity with natural foods and Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Cashier
Part-Time Hourly Position
20 to 25 hours a week
Responsibilities:
To check out customer purchases and otherwise assist customers, to meet objectives for accuracy and provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service .
Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple demands and stay calm, Experience serving the public, Ability to project friendly, outgoing personality, Familiarity with natural foods, Organized, accurate, pays attention to detail, Willing to work at least one weekend day, and Ability to stand in one place for long periods of time.

Meat and Cheese Assistant
Part-Time 15 to 20 hours a week
Must be able to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities:
Assist the Meat & Cheese Buyer and the Deli, Meat & Cheese Manager by stocking shelves, placing orders, wrapping and pricing meat, cheese and seafood, and answering customer questions.
Qualifications:
Experience working with food, ability to handle multiple demands while providing exceptional customer service, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, manual dexterity with equipment, ability to multi-task, Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
