Ingredients:
1 package Beef for Stew
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large Onion, Chopped
5 whole garlic cloves, peeled and NOT CHOPPED
1/2 cup water
1/8 teaspoon allspice, ground
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 whole bay leaf
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 whole carrot, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
Instructions:
Brown beef in olive oil on high heat. Add onions and cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cover and reduce heat to simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add carrots and celery and cook another 15 minutes until tender.
Serve immediately.
