Just Food Co-op prides itself in its beautiful selection of fresh produce. We label all produce with its origin, so you always know where your fruits and vegetables are coming from. But our labels tell you even more—green means organically grown, purple means locally grown, and yellow means conventionally grown. And if you need help identifying a veggie or would like some cooking suggestions, don’t hesitate to talk to one of our knowledgeable and friendly produce staff members.
So whether you want local apples or organic avocados, you’ll find all of your favorites in our produce department!

You’ll find a lot of wonderful products in our bulk department, including coffee, spices, teas, beans, grains, snacks, seeds, nuts, mixes, flours and sugars. And because we buy these products in large quantities, bulk products are often cheaper than their packaged counterparts. Even better, you can purchase as much or as little as you need!
Shopping in Just Food Co-op’s bulk department is easy. Simply fill your bag, write down the PLU number (located on the front of the bulk bin), and bring to a cashier. And if you’d rather skip the bag, feel free to bring your own bag, jar or other reusable container to fill—just make sure to weigh it empty on the scale in the produce department and write that empty weight (called the “tare”) on the container. Questions? We’re here to help—ask a Co-op staff member for assistance.
