Free Film Showing Tuesday

Please join us for Tableland, a documentary by Canadian filmmaker Craig Noble. This hopeful film tells the stories of local food and the people connected to it. In making Tableland, Noble visited numerous farmers, producers and chefs from throughout Canada and the United States who work together to provide delicious, quality food to their customers. Traveling along with Noble, you’ll visit beautiful locations and hear from with the farmers, producers and foragers of vegetables, wine, cheese, beer, honey, baked goods, oysters and mushrooms. You’ll also meet the chefs and others who purchase these products, an act which in many cases has changed their relationship to their food, farmers and foodshed.

Brimming over with beautiful images and passionate language, Tableland is a celebration of food and the relationships that come out of sharing it. Make sure to catch the Tableland showing at the Just Food Event Space on June 17 at 7 p.m. Reserve your seat by calling 507-650-0106.
