Ham and Cheese Quiche


1 pie crust

1 cup diced ham (local)

1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, Colby Jack) (local)

4 whole eggs (local)

2/3 cup milk (local)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Beat eggs and then add milk, salt, and pepper and blend well. Place cheese on bottom of pie crust, layer ham over it; pour milk and egg mixture over all and mix to combine.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow to rest 5-10 minutes before cutting and serving. Also good at room temperature.
