Make Your Own Rainbarrel

Learn about the benefits of rain barrels for water quality and gardening. First hear a presentation on the effects of runoff on water quality, the benefits of rain barrels, and how to install and maintain your rain barrel. Then assemble your 55-gallon plastic rainbarrel to take home with you. As an added bonus, a rebate of $20 is available from the City of Northfield once you install your rainbarrel. Instructor Aaron Wills is on staff at the Cannon River Watershed Partnership and has been helping citizens reduce their impact on the Cannon River for the past six years. Register today!
