Where: Conservation Building at the Rice County Fairgrounds, Faribault

Time: 10-2. Call Rice SWCD (507-332-5408) to schedule a 30 minute time slot to construct your rain barrel. Tell them you heard about it from Just Food Co-op!

What: Come ready to construct your own rain barrel. They will have all the tools and will be providing assistance to complete a rain barrel for you to take home. Preassembled barrels will be available at the workshop. They will also provide information about how to use your rain barrel and answering any additional questions you may have.

Cost: $35 to build your barrel or $55 for a preassembled barrel (tax is included in the price).

Registration: Contact 507-332-5408. Make checks payable to Rice SWCD. (They have a limited supply of barrels available, so be sure to preregister.)
