Join Minnesota’s Vision and SHIP for this wonderful opportunity for new conversations that address the long-term health and vitality of Southeast Minnesota. Local farmers and others interested in the growth of our foodshed are encouraged to come to this FREE workshop.
The purpose of this workshop is to:
- Strengthen networks across Southeast Minnesota committed to increasing access to healthy foods and improving public health.
- Develop a common vision of what a healthy food environment is like for Southeast Minnesota residents.
- Learn about interconnections between public health issues like obesity, agriculture, food environments, and possible community solutions.
- Explore role and examples of local and regional policy, systems and environmental change in improving quality of and access to food.
