This Saturday, April 9, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m., young and old alike can learn how to create beautiful eggs using the traditional hot wax and dye method of pysanky, Ukrainian egg decoration. Participants will take home at least three finished eggs! It’s easy to learn and lots of fun to do. Start by mapping out your design, then use the dye baths from light to dark to deepen your design interest. This class is taught by Laura Heiman who has been decorating Ukrainian eggs for more than 25 years. Make a personalized set of eggs to decorate your table or to give as gifts.
