Ingredients:
1 lb. millet
1/4 lb. bacon
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. fresh mint (optional)
1 tsp. salt
Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Rinse millet thoroughly and bring to boil in enough water to cover, and cook covered over slow heat for 30 minutes. Dice bacon and fry until crisp. Wipe mushrooms. Chop onions and mushrooms and cook with bacon and bacon fat. Combine millet with bacon mixture and add salt and pepper.
